Our services include Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language training for organisations, regular Bingo events, and monthly interpreted sessions featuring guest speakers, ensuring accessibility and informative experiences for the Deaf community and local groups
Our British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation services are designed to help businesses, organisations, and event organisers create fully inclusive environments for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. We work closely with you to ensure communication is clear, respectful, and accessible, whether for meetings, training sessions, conferences, appointments, or public events. We offer Deaf awareness (DAT) and British Sign Language (BSL) training to help Business understand and communicate with their Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of hearing customers. All our DAT is tailor made for your organisation. BSL in the workplace helps you to communicate with Deaf people whose first language is BSL. All the training sessions are information and fun. You can choose from half or full day training at your workplace or at Royal William Yard where our office is.
Plymouth Deaf association organises many events throughout the year to keep our members informed and entertained. The main event is Bingo every Wednesday at Plymouth Parkway FC. We also arrange outings, talks, charity events and meals out. We also have tickets for BSL interpreted performances at the Theatre and other places. Look on our events page for the list of events.
