The first Annual General Meeting of the three towns (Plymouth, Stonehouse and Devonport) District Deaf and Dumb Mission was held at St Andrews Hall. The annual report said that over 150 mutes had been dealt with by the mission, and in many cases, employment had been found for them.
*Note: – The three towns indicated the borders of Plymouth, Devonport and Stonehouse until around 1914, when it amalgamated and became the ‘City of Plymouth’.
